To Be the Flow - By The Navigator of the Unseen
I am listening to the rain.
It is heavy, hard, constant, powerful. Millions of drops are falling
But we only hear one sound, not a million.
If we tried to hear the stars… or the galaxies, why do we still only perceive one hum, one vibration?
Because they are all sounding together, not trying to outshine,
not striving to be different.
Only when the rain hits a roof, a wall, a window
does it begin to sound separate. We have shaped the difference.
We have changed the flow. And what if we wanted to hear
the stars speak to one another? We would need to remove every man-made machine
and just listen.
With the soul.
With the skin.
With the whole being.
Why not dwell in the stillness of constant flow? Why are we always pulled
toward goals, toward grasping? From the infinitely small
to the vastness of all that is. There was never a beginning,
never an end. To try to measure the immeasurable
is to miss the point entirely. Just to be
in the movement that doesn’t move. To listen to everything at once, instead of chasing every sound
and hearing… nothing.
Until next time,
Michel
